ya know what..... Kalim is one of those sunshine characters that naturally interacts and "befriends" so many characters. It's always the sunshine characters that I'm drawn to put in a giant poly-hole where basically everyone is in love with them. It just makes sense.

Kalim x Silver: He's always waking Silver up in class and tries to help is drowsy spells. They're also just one of the few genuinely sweet guys on campus so it's pure fluff. A bonus advantage is that since Silver is a Trained Knight (or on the road to be) he can protect Kalim from assassination attempts.

Kalim x Ruggie: Eat The Rich w/ a twist. My precious hyena boy DESERVES to get married to a sincere Sugar Daddy (or as my gf and I like to say, Sugar Bestie™). He's worked hard enough and Kalim is one of the few upper class individuals that would NEVER use his money or status to control, manipulate or abuse another. He just wants to help out and the endless positivity would not only bring Rugs outta his comfort zone but would also impact those in his hometown A LOT.

Riddle x Kalim: Not a favorite, but I get it. Two kids from wealthy families (one more wealthy than the other) who were kinda isolated from the "regular" world and gotta figure shit out for themselves away from their former caretakers. Obvi, very different contexts and personality but that's what helps them depend on one another. Even when they can't relate, they can Listen and Grow together.

Floyd x Kalim: ARE YOU KIDDING THEY'RE ADHD BUDDIES?!?!? Not only can they relate with similar neurological issues, but their common interests can be a safe zone for them to bond. On top of that, even with their reckless personalities and their overall lack of forethought, Floyd is STRONG and could protect Kalim from any pushback or consequences. They're also both raised by Extreme Capitalist (even thou we don't exactly know what the Tweels parents DO) so the business sense and exposure to the darker side of things probably wouldn't be too much of an adjustment for either side.

Obvi Jamil x Kalim: I know not everyone likes this ship (and considering the dynamic and difference in power/status I TOTALLY get it). Even if the relationship is seen through platonic soulmates, brother-like, or just a 'we-were-stuck-together-for-years-and-now-we-don't-know-how-to-live-apart' sitcom kinda vibe they'll ALWAYS be linked together. Besides, an angsty, complicated childhood friends to lovers story with repressed mutual pinning is a guilty pleasure of mine lol!

Whoever he gets paired with, regardless of if it's a ship that has an anchor in canon interactions or PURELY fueled by fanon crack, there's a billion tropes to work with before even having to dip into AU or Crossover. Kalim is a COMPLEX CHARACTER with so many random lore drops and info that has so much potential. Even when people are writing or creating fan-produces with a more 2d version of his character, he's still lovable!! He's one of the few reoccurring characters in a cast full of obnoxious, weird, arrogant, awful, annoying, egotistical, pigheaded teenage boys with the power of NUKES.... And isn't completely terrible.

Lemme reiterate, that I LOVE so many characters in Twisted Wonderland but boy do these kids get on my nerves. They're all little assholes in some way or another, but there's a range between "okay, pretty standard high schooler" to "IDC IF YOURE TRAUMATIZED NO AMOUNT OF BACKSTORY CAN EXCUSE YOUR ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR!!!!! YOU'RE A FUCKING INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL WTF" and Kalim is a lot chiller. He's irrational sometimes and often does things without thinking it through.... But he's also a kid who's allowed to make mistakes and grow now that he's away from the bubble he grew up in. He can interact with people of all walks of life and get that perspective.

And depending on who he's paired with, romantic or otherwise, it's fascinating and heart wrenching and awe inspiring to watch him grow through the lens and experiences of the other person(s).

With us getting the newest installment of book seven, this time with Kalim and Jamil’s “perfect world” dreams, I would like every other Yuu Harem enthusiast to consider the idea that Malleus unintentionally exposed literally everyone’s crush on Yuu to their face.

Because everyone’s dreams would have one thing in common with one another and that’s the fact that Yuu is 1. around somehow, usually having decided to stay in Twisted Wonderland rather than return home, and 2. is dating the dreamer.

And it especially sucks if they had done a good job at hiding their feelings and now Yuu knows about not only their feelings, but the feelings of all their competition. Literally it is just-

Everyone’s dreams: *has a fake version of Yuu staying in Twisted Wonderland forever and is in a dedicated romantic relationship with the dreamer*

The real Yuu, seeing all this happen with their own two eyes: I’m sensing a pattern here

And then when everyone wakes up, Yuu just has to hit them with the “is there something anyone wants to talk to me about?” meanwhile everyone is stumbling over their own words, cursing Malleus for exposing them.

Also if we take this in a yandere route then it’s even WORSE cause Yuu gets to see the extent at which the dreamer adores them, to the obsessive and possessive level I mean. Like no one else talking to their dream version, or if they get mistaken for their counterpart by the dreamer then they’ll see the dreamer get cold towards any npcs that try to talk to them.

Or even dream Yuu doing something uncharacteristic like ditching their friends or, heaven forbid, Grim in favor of the dreamer.

Everyone: *gets to live out their obsessive fantasies with Yuu in the dream where they’re willingly isolated*

Yuu: Once this is over, we all need to have a long discussion about boundaries

Instead of being just simply embarrassed, the yandere version of the boys would be downright upset and crying because they’ve been exposed and now think that Yuu doesn’t love them anymore. Some are begging, others weeping, you get the idea.

Let’s just hope Yuu has enough patience to let it go until after Malleus’ overblot is dealt with.

AAAAAOMG UR TWST OC IS SO ADORABLE?? i'm absolutely in love with eden sm (+ his design?? the star eyes and the wings are my favorite,, i wanna smooch all his tattoos!) and i hope it's okay to ask a few questions about him... (I KNOW U SAID IT WAS OKAY BUT I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE 😭 i'm genuinely interested in knowing more!)

1) does he have anyone in the twst cast that he tolerates/likes? i know he's part of the whole harem thing but is there anyone he doesn't necessarily mind being around (or even sharing with the prefect?)

2) do grim and eden have a good relationship? i would assume so since they're living both with one another but do they just get along with each other for the prefect's sake or are they actually best buds? (๑ > ᴗ < ๑)

(little dumb idea but i think it would be so cute if the prefect treated the two as if they were all like a little family! eden and prefect being the two parents and grim their rambunctious kid lmao,, i would imagine the others not being so happy about it (っ‘ω`c))

3) is he okay with physical affection/pda? is he totally chill about it or would he rather shy about the whole thing? is he open to having the prefect touch his wings or his tattoos?

4) oooo any funfacts that you have about the new ramshackle resident?? just in general really if that's okay with u ofc!! ☆

Had to get one of those wheels ive seen going around where you put the oc and how they feel about the character and how the characters feel back about them, but with a twist lol (most of them are haters).

The ones he are most tolerant with are grim, ace, deuce, jack and kalim. Only one he could possible share with would either be kalim, jack or deuce, because of how he sorta is annoyed by ace.

Of course cant forget how he feels about you :) he thinks you are very very very special and he loves you a lot <3

He likes grim a lot, seeing as grim isn't one of the students that is oh so annoying. He warms up to the monster, seeing how gently you take care of grim, wanting to do the same. It feels, domestic, in his opinion.

Grim likes Eden a lot too, he has never belittled him, he has always made sure to feed grim along with Eden being very warm (and therefore very nice to sleep on). In grims opinion, he thinks you should go with Eden, cuz he is a good candidate for marriage (grim has been bribed with love, affection, and tuna).

He takes good care of the cat son, making sure he is healthy and happy.

Now onto pda. Eden are only okay with you touching the wings, the tattoo and the core, being as they are quite sensitive. The scar is still off limits, but maybe if you make him warm up to you even more you might be able to-

He loves when you help him with his wings, it's one of the best feelings out there. Fo mind that only you (and grim) can touch the wings, anyone else is off limits, ESPECIALLY ROOK HE IS FORBIDDEN TO TOUCH THEM.

Eden facts!! He has lil "ear-holes" like birds, just behind the feathers. Be careful around that part when you help him with his feathers, otherwise you might have a pouty and angry Eden on tour hands.

His eyes also glow in the dark! It's the scariest during the nightly snack runs down to the kitchen, seeing him suddenly stare at you, but you slowly get used to it!

You don't know where the extra eyes sometimes come from tho...

Im curious because you said that like if a yandere cheats on their darling it's a crime, but what about kalim's father? if I rmbr correctly he has like more than one wife right? (And even more children) Does that count as cheating? if not how does it work?

I'm going to do what we in the fanwriting industry call, ignoring canon.

But in the case of not ignoring canon......

I imagine that this little situation works like a harem. But not exactly.

Kalim's mom is the favourite wife. She's loved, adored and spoiled by Kalim's father, given all she could ever want, except her freedom. Al-Asim is their first child together, and many more follow.

But there is an issue. With all the wealth and prestige that comes with being the wealthiest family in all of the Scalding Sands, assassins and kidnappers come bearing many poisons and searching for ransoms. Kalim's father is no fool, so certain sacrifices are made.

All it takes is one well placed conversation with the sultan and everything works out like intended.

He chooses from a lineup of women, looking for ones that look as close as possible to his beloved darling. They become his 'wives' and bear his 'children', all products of surrogacy (He wouldn't dare have sex with one of them, they're not his darling).

The point is simple. Have back ups to take the hit, while he expenses all his efforts and wealth into protecting his beloved darling and their children. In exchange, he provides the other wives and children with lives of luxury, for their lives that might be tragically cut short.

Obviously his kids don't know about this, Kalim especially. But honestly, it's what protects his darling and their beloved children so who cares about how it's done.

— INTRODUCING THE CONCUBINES / CONSORTS + others ♡. The first part and it's over 1k words hahdk

. LEONA KINGSCHOLAR ; The second prince of the neighboring country; married the emperor for what is presumed to be diplomatic reasons; he has his entire family's support and backing, allowing for the utmost comfortable experience. Though many assume Leona married into the harem for political reasons alone; Leona had many more prominent and dignified proposals that he had denied blatantly in the past and his family had never truly pushed him to get married- his brother preferred giving him freedom and free will… and yet he married into the harem? An union which was more than unlikely to be accepted by the lion?.. Why would he agree to this marriage.. Could there be a reason? 

. RIDDLE ROSEHEARTS ; Riddle comes from a high ranking family; his family owns multiple pharmacies and is a known name in the medical district, his family has treated royalty and many other foreign diplomats in the past; originally he had no plans in joining the harem, despite being a palatable candidate for a high ranking position, the stories and fights he’s heard of in the past, regarding the harem made him decide that it was better off marrying into a normal noble family then royalty; but per his mothers request he joined into the brutal playground that is the royal harem, thankfully his unique magic puts him at a advantage in any fights that may occur. 

. JADE/FLOYD LEECH ; Many say that twins are attached to the hip and would follow along everywhere the other goes; and this seems to be the case for this pair. The Leech family had been a pillar for the empire and helped the emperor for many years; they've played a role in imperial politics, hand in hand with the emperor for multiple generations by now. Though many could argue the pair married into the imperial family to strengthen the relationship and political bond between the two families; in reality only one son marrying into the family would have the same effect.. So why did the pair decide on such a decision?

. TREY CLOVER ; Trey’s family owns the emperor's favorite bakery; Trey fell for the emperor at a young age, even among first sight. Yet he remains blissfully unaware and in denial of his feelings for the emperor, burying them deep into the enraptures of his heart. He enters the palace as a concubine and before this entire ordeal he’d send baked goods to the emperor, preferably the emperor's favorites with recommendations of other sweets they should try; he’d continue sending these baked goods to the emperor after his entry in the palace; which in return allowed him to gain the emperor's favor quickly.

. KALIM AL ASIM ; A wealthy mercenary heir, of the biggest mercenary there is. Kalim was brought up as a candidate for the emperor's official partner; and for some peculiar reason he agreed to join the harem. Reasons of interest are unknown and even his parents were shocked when he decided so, but the public is quite interested in knowing why the ever so charming heir of what seems to be one of the richest- if not richest families around, married into the royal family's brutal playground. 

. JAMIL VIPER ; Background is unknown; ?????.. information unattainable. 

. YUUKA ; Emperor's closest companion, personal guard, and childhood friend. Seems to know a lot about the emperor and their whereabouts, quite a few concubine candidates contacted them in advance and tried paying her for information- but her loyalty resulted in her denying all offers. The emperor reaches out to her for advice and care, onlookers describe their relationship to be too close for comfort.

. YUUKEN ; One of the emperor's most trusted guards and close comrades; the pair became friends in childhood as they studied under the same teacher/mentor, their friendship continued to blossom and strengthen over the upcoming years and into the emperor's youth. The two can be spotted alongside Yuuka, another close companion, having tea in the garden. Though these meetings occur less nowadays as the Emperor, the pair of guards become all the more busier. 

. CHE'NYA ; Che’nya often finds himself sneaking into the gardens of the imperial palace; these visits increased when the new emperor was crowned, as the palace being in a stir allowed his visits to be more frequent and carefree. However recently he was caught on his expeditions by the emperor themselves, this channeled a sort of cat and mouse relationship between the pair. Che’nya could have gotten an higher rank in the harem, yet only decided to send his application in after he met the emperor in the garden; due to his curiosity, but the late application only earned him the role of a concubine. (Which he was fine with) 

. VIL SCHOENHEIT ; Originally a candidate for the position of the Emperors official spouse and was planning on giving up the role after hearing of the Emperors announcement; yet pushed for the role of an Imperial consort after hearing that his longtime rival would be joining the harem. He has a strong backing as a high ranking court official's only child. He’s confident in his abilities and can make some devilishly succulent tea; though he prefers not doing manual labor and focusing more on skills he finds to be useful and not minor. 

. NEIGE LEBLANCHE ; Had seen the emperor before while they were still training to become an heir and wasn’t yet crowned as the heir to the throne. At the time he was told to keep a distance from them, and Neige was raised in a strict military family; so he complied easily. However, he claims from the very first day he laid his eyes on the emperor, that it was true love and as such he convinced his parents to send in a letter of recommendation for him; though it would be a challenge to say the least, Neige’s strong backing allows him to be accepted easily. Thankfully he has company, as his childhood friend Vil will also be entering the palace.

— THE CONCUBINE GAME !! ♡. Synposis ; After many months of persuading, the emperor, Y/N L/N had finally agreed to take in a select few concubines and consorts—not an official partner.. but concubines. This caused an uproar in court; however the emperor promised to choose an official partner; amongst the crowd of concubines and consorts.. Who will the emperor choose?

The story will take place in Agrabah, the one from the original “Aladdin” that the Scarabia dorm is based on.  As the overblot eats away at the characters, they start to resemble and act more like the Disney characters they are based on.  The reader will be called Y/N and Jasmine, and they will be one of Kalim’s brothers.  Kalim will not be under Jamil’s control, but he will be influenced to make certain decisions via Jamil's unique magic.

You feel the heat first, it's hot and uncomfortable on your skin.  You groan and roll over on your side, trying to expose less skin to the horrible sun beaming down on you.  You attempt to open your eyes, but the sun and sand cause you to close them in pain.  You only sigh in relief when you hear a voice calling out to you and a cool towel is placed on your head.  You briefly open your eyes to see a dark haired male frantically tapping your cheek to get your attention and calling out the name “Jasmine” before you pass out.

When you awaken again, you feel much cooler and comfortable.  You can open your eyes without any pain, and you open them to see a lavishly decorated bedroom and you're laying on a satin bed.  The cool materials of the covers keep your body temperature down even though the large arches windows in your room are barely covered with silk drapes.  You sit up and continue to look around the room, noticing a decorated vanity and dresser in one corner and a pile of soft pillows in the other corner.  You hesitantly push the covers aside and stand up, your finger brushing over your outfit.  You look down to see only red.  Rushing over to the vanity mirror, you get a good look at your clothing.  From red harem pants to just a silk scarf that barely hides your chest, you're also covered in golden jewelry that feels much too heavy in your limbs.  You can only stare at your own shocked expression before pinching yourself to ensure that this was all real.  But, how did you even get here?  You try to think back to your last memory, but you can only remember hot sand and someone rescuing you.  As you try to look deeper, a searing pain shoots through your head, preventing you from figuring out your past.

A sudden knock at your door as you snapping out our self-discovery as the doors open.

“Jasmine?  Are you awake?” a voice asks as you see a white-hairrd male walk in.

He's dressed as elegantly as you are, covered in white silk, golden jewelry, and shiny gems.  When he sees you standing near the vanity, he squeals and runs up to you, embracing you in a tight hug.

“You're awake!  You're awake!” he chants in glee as he jumps up and down with you still in his arms.  “Just wait until Jamil hears about this?”

“Who's Jamil?” you ask as he finally stops bouncing around.

“That would be me,” another voice says as yet another figure walks into the room.

Unlike the other, this boy is dressed in darker clothing, mostly black and dark red, that flows like a dress.  Along with his glowing red left eye, he has black snakes that appear to be his hair that wrap around his shoulders and arms (Jamil is wearing his overblot outfit).  He holds a golden scepter that has a cobra head on top with glowing red gems for eyes.

“I’m glad you're feeling better, Jasmine.  But, do tell me why you were outside the palace gates in a sandstorm?” Jamil asks you, sounding like a predator that finally managed to corner its prey.

“Jasmine?” you ask.  “I don't think my name’s Jasmine.”

The white-haired boy lets out a loud gasp, startling you a bit as he brings you back into a hug, “Jamil, you must do something!  Poor Jasmine lost all of his memories!”

Jamil’s straight face soon morphs into one of relief and almost delight as he registers you've lost your memories.

“Well, it could be an after effect of the heat stroke you just endured, but it should pass in a few days.  I hope you've learned a valuable lesson from this,” Jamil tells you, giving you a pointed look.

You don't really like the vibes coming off this man as he looks at you expectantly.  You just nod and tell him you won't go wandering around by yourself anymore.

“Wonderful,” Jamil says as he turns around and starts to leave.  “I have some business to attend to, but Kalim you can show your brother around if you’d like.”

Kalim’s smile grows impossibly bigger as his eyes shine and he grabs your hand and starts dragging you out of the room, “There's so much I need to show you again.  Until you get your memory back, I'm going to show you all of our favorite spots and all the games we used to play.”

He leads you all around the place, up and down dozens of golden stairs and past a million rooms that it makes your head dizzy.  From rooms filled with treasures to a room filled with swords that Kalim reassured you won't be needed, he gives you a tour of his entire very large house.  In one room filled with golden jewelry, Kalim plucks a golden tiara that has an engraving of Taj Mahal-shaped buildings in the background and a viper in the front.

“You need a crown,” was all Kalim said even though you tried to refuse the gift.

You reluctantly let him place it on your head, the weight being uncomfortable for a bit, but it was super light and you soon forgot that it was even on your head.

Dragging you out of the room as quickly as he dragged you into it, Kalim took no more pauses as he continued the very thorough tour.  Finally, when you're panting and sweaty from all that unnecessary exercise, Kalim flopped you both down in a room filled with carpets.

“Wasn't that so much fun!” Kalim exclaims, still somehow full of energy and not tired at all.

“Yeah, your mansion is so cool,” you wheeze out as you catch your breath, laying down and looking up at the ceiling decorated with tiny tiles.

Kalim pauses and looks at you sadly, “You mean our mansion, Jasmine.  As my younger brother, this is your home as much as it is mine.”

“Younger brother?” you question as you sit up and turn towards Kalim.

“It must be the memory loss, I hope Jamil is working on something to fix that,” Kalim tells you as he gives you a head pat.  “I’m so sad you don’t remember anything.”

“I’m sure I will someday,” you try to reassure the saddened male who is apparently your brother even though you two don’t look very alike.

As you pat his back, you feel something tickle your wrist.  You swat at it without looking down, thinking it’s just a fly.  But when it persists, you glance down annoyed, only to see the decorative fringe on the carpet you both are sitting on moving by itself.  You let out a startled yelp that has Kalim bolting up and picking you up bridal style.

“What is it!  Did you see a spider!” he yells, sounding just as scared as you felt.

“No!  The carpet moved!” you exclaim while pointing at the carpet that stands up and dusts itself off, looking quite offended at your words.

Instead of running away, Kalim just breaks down laughing.  He has to put you down to hold his knees from the force that his laughter tumbles out of his mouth.  You give him a questioning look as he wipes tears from the corners of his eyes.

“Jasmine, you’re so silly!  That’s just my magic carpet,” Kalim chuckles as the carpet “walks” over and holds its "hand" out for you to shake.

You hesitantly grip the golden tassel and give it a gentle shake, which causes the carpet to get excited as it “claps” and flats itself before swooping down and knocking you both off of you feet and onto its back.  You let out a gasp as it starts to hover above the floor, but Kalim seems very comfortable as he helps you sit up and grabs the front tassels, starting to steer the carpet toward the curtained windows.

“Just loop your arms around my waist, so you don’t fall off,” Kalim instructs you as you quickly comply.

“Are you sure this is safe?” you question as the carpet breezes past the curtains and into the open sky.

“Of course!  I do this all the time!” Kalim responds, vibrating with excitement, happy that he gets to show you something he loves.

Kalim presses the tassels down, causing the carpet to enter a sharp dive.  You let out a scream of surprise, your grip tightening on Kalim’s waist as he laughs and evens out the carpet’s path.  For the rest of the ride, Kalim tried to keep the carpet pretty even and steady, only going into a few short dives when he got bored.  He showed you all of the sights of Agrabah from a bird's eye view.  You were amazed by the view and all the twisty streets that lay outside the neat corridors of the palace.  Kalim wouldn’t allow the carpet to land so you could check out the vendors, telling you that you’d have to ask Jamil if you ever wanted to leave the palace walls.

“It’s not safe for us out there, considering we’re the royals and all,” Kalim tells you, not missing the way you deflated a bit at the news.  “Oh, don’t be sad though!  If you want anything we probably already have inside the palace.”

“It’s okay, I just wanted to get a closer look at the stalls,” you reassure him, trying to distract him from the disagreement.

Kalim tried to cheer you up by flying over a huge lake, getting close enough to splash water on you.  You let out a giggle as you return the favor and splash water all over his face.  The water fight would have continued if the carpet didn’t pull away from the lake, preferring not to get wet and have to dry itself later.  As the sun began to set, Kalim pulled you to sit next to him to watch the beautiful colors start a fire in the sky.  The carpet hovered near the window that you two left through, just allowing you guys to appreciate the view.  Kalim lets one of his arms wrap around your shoulder in a half-hug and lets you lean your head on his shoulder.  You both get startled when a sudden voice shatters the quiet atmosphere.

“Just what do you two think you’re doing?”  Jamil’s voice speaks.

You look over the window to see the curtains now pushed back to reveal an unhappy looking Jamil with crossed arms over his chest.

“Jamil!  We were just about to return,” Kalim explains, but you can hear the nervousness in his voice.

“Do you know how worried I was!  You left without telling anyone.  I had to organize all the carpets just to find yours missing,” Jamil states, pointing to the neatly stacked carpets behind him.  “It’s getting late, you both should come inside now.”

Jamil moved back to give the carpet some move to land at his feet.  Kalim sheepishly rubs the back of his neck as Jamil glares down at him.

“We’re sorry, Jamil,” you meekly apologize.

Jamil just sighs, “It’s okay.  Next time just let someone know.”

“Of course!  Sorry for causing you trouble, Jamil,” Kalim adds as Jamil gives him a disappointed look.

“It’s dinner time, so we should be heading to the dining hall now,” Jamil reminds as he starts to walk toward the door.

You quickly thank the carpet for the ride before following Jamil, Kalim walking besides you.  You try to remember where the dining hall is based on the tour Kalim gave you earlier, but you still have a hard time remembering all of the turns you took to get there.  Once in the dining room, which is a long room with an equally long table in the middle, you are forced to take a seat on a soft pillow next to Jamil, who sits at the head of the table.  Kamil sits across from you, on Jamil’s right side, and gives you a bright smile as servants start to bring in towers of food.  The walls are covered in open windows, which allows a pleasant breeze to flow through the room and lets you watch the sun finish setting.  While you’re distracted with the windows, Jamil has started to pile your plate up with food.  You turn back to see your plate filled with delicious curries and spiced vegetables.

“Dig in, Jasmine!  Jamil makes the best food,” Kalim tells you, already taking big bites of his food.

“You made this?” you ask as you scoop up some of the curry, placing the spoon in your mouth.

“Yes, do you like it?” Jamil asks, looking at you nervously, like he’s afraid to disappoint you.

Complex flavors invade your mouth, with just enough spice to feel it but not too much where it is overwhelming.  You smile and take another bite before giving Jamil a double thumbs-up, which causes him to smile and relax a bit.  As dinner continues, Kalim and Jamil discuss some royal stuff, like guard positioning and recent sandstorms in the area.  You block out their conversation as you enter your thoughts.  It’s so amazing that this is your life.  From home-cooked meals to carpet rides, it’s such a shame you’ve forgotten it all.

“Jasmine?” Kalim’s voice startles you as you blink and redirect your attention to the two males.

“Sorry, just zoned out,” you apologize as you quickly finish the food on your plate.

“You must be so tired after a full day of activities,” Jamil concludes as he stands.  “You should probably head to bed.”

You nod, suddenly feeling a bit sleepy, as you follow Jamil and stand up as well.  The three of you walk back into the hallway and you don’t bother to remember the route you take, just thinking about the soft bed you’re about to sleep in.  You soon realize that Kalim’s room is right next to your room as he starts to open the door next to your room and disappears inside after giving you a tight hug and whispering a “good night”.

You turn around to see Jamil holding your door open and you thank him as you enter.

“Just holler if you need anything, my room is just down the hall.  Sweet dreams,” Jamil tells you before he turns to leave.

He’s startled when you suddenly hug him from behind, “Thank you, Jamil.  I hope I regain my memories soon.”

Jamil stiffens at the words, but he just gives you a head pat before leaving you alone in your big room.  You walk over to the huge bed, flopping onto the soft mattress.  You curl up with a cozy blankets and slowly fall asleep.

In the morning, you awaken to the sounds of arguing.  You try to ignore it and fall back asleep, but the voices get progressively louder to the point where you groan in annoyance and stand up.  You quietly open your door to see who’s making such a fuss this earlier in the morning, but you find no one in the hallway.  You note that the voices are coming from Kalim’s room, and his door cracked open a bit.  You’re not usually an eavesdropper, but they seemed to be talking about you.  You crouch behind the door, peeking inside the crack.

“But I want to take him on another carpet ride,” Kalim whines.

“You had him all of yesterday though,” Jamil complains.  “It’s only fair if I get to take him out today.”

“Why don’t we do it together?” Kalim tries to compromise, but Jamil is having none of it.

Jamil sighs before looking down at Kalim, “You will leave Jasmine and me alone for the whole day.  You will stay in your room and work on some paperwork until it is dinner time.”

Because his back is turned toward you, you can’t tell what Jamil is doing to Kalim, but Kalim’s eyes start to glow a dull red before he slowly nods along to Jamil’s words.  Jamil gives another deep sigh before starting to turn around.  You quickly stand up and hurry back into your room, jumping under the safety of the covers.  You can hear Jamil close Kalim’s door and open yours.  You quickly fall limp and pretend to be asleep as Jamil’s footsteps get closer to your bed.

“Jasmine, it’s time to wake up,” Jamil murmurs in a soothing voice as he gently shakes your shoulder.

You fake a groan and act like you just woke up, groggily rubbing your eyes and yawning.

“Good morning, sleepyhead,” Jamil smiles at you as you fake another yawn for good measure.

“Good morning.  What do we have planned today?” you ask as you climb out of bed and begin to fold the blankets.

“Kalim told me you were interested in exploring the town yesterday, so I thought it would be fun to take you out today,” Jamil speaks as he stands up and heads to the door.  “I don’t have breakfast prepared yet so we can get something to eat out there.”

“Sounds like a great idea!  I can’t wait!” you cheer as you follow Jamil out of your room and into the hallway.

“You’ll need a disguise though because you’re a member of the royal family.  We can’t have people recognizing you,” Jamil ponders before walking back into your room and rummages around in the dresser.

He returns with a brown cloak that he drapes over you and wraps the scarf-like hood over your head and lower face.

“Perfect,” he nods to himself before offering you his arm.

You loop your arm through his and you both walk towards the palace doors that will lead to the outside world.  You lean a little closer towards Jamil as he opens the gates that lead to the busy market.  You’re assaulted with loud noises and intense scents as you walk further into the crowd.  Although the streets are busy, the people part and give you two a clear path when they see Jamil.  You still hang pretty close to Jamil, but you get distracted by a few stalls that have very enticing food selections.  Seeing your interest, Jamil quickly purchases the food items before you get the chance to protest.  Not wanting to waste anymore money, you try not to gaze too long at the other stalls that sell silks and jewelry, even though the salesman and saleswoman tried to persuade you into buying their products.

Jamil stayed by your side the entire time, only straying to this shady looking stall near the end of your journey.  He speaks with the man at the booth while you linger nearby, but you become alarmed when you hear a small voice.

“Let me go!” a voice exclaims followed by a rattling sound.

You look over at Jamil and see him still talking to the salesman, not seeming to hear the commotion.  You turn around to see a covered birdcage rustling around in the corner.  You hesitantly crouch down and grab the edge of the cloth and slowly lift it up.  You see a gray cat-like thing with fiery blue flames in his ears that looks up at you with a glare which quickly melts into a smile.

“Human!  It’s you!” the creature exclaims as he rushes over to grip the bars of his cage.  “You have to free me, we need to leave.”

“Leave? But it’s so nice here,” you reply before shaking your head.  “Who even are you?  How do you know me?”

“Don’t tell me Jamil used Snake Charmer on you,” the cat looks upset.

“Snake Charmer?  Is that what he used on Kalim earlier?” you think to yourself before addressing the cat again.  “No, Jamil and Kalim have been taking good care of me.  Sorry, but I don’t know you.”

You’re about to drop the cloth again and retreat to Jamil, but the cat calls out for you, “Y/N, wait!”

You pause your motions.  You remain kneeling as you feel a rush of memories flood back into your head.  You remember Night Raven College, the overblots, jumping through the Scarabia mirror, and Grim.  This is not some fairytale life, it's all an illusion.

“Grim…I remember now,” you start slowly, just trying to process the information.

“Great!  Now let me out!” Grim prompts as you reach down to unclasp the lock on the birdcage.

Grim steps out and you close the door and place the sheet back on top of it.  Shaking himself of the dirt that had layered on his fur, Grim gives you a big smile that shows off his sharp teeth.

“Thanks, human.  Now let’s get out of here!” Grim suggests.

You’re about to follow him but Jamil stops you.

“Jasmine?  Where do you think you’re going?” Jamil asks as he places a hand on your shoulder to prevent you from running off.

Thinking quickly you come up with a believable excuse, “Oh, I just saw a stray dog and wanted to pet it.”

“That’s cute, but you shouldn’t go running off without my supervision,” Jamil lightly scolds before hooking his arm in yours.  “We should be heading back soon anyways.”

You just nod and spare a quick glance behind you to see Grim watching from a dark corner before disappearing.  Hopefully he’ll come back for you.

Once you arrive at the palace again, you’re surprised to not see Kalim anywhere, then you remember that Jamil used Snake Charmer on him in the morning.  Instead of leading you back toward your room. Jamil starts to take you down an unfamiliar hallway, but he is quickly stopped by a guard who says that his presence was requested.  Jamil curses silently before giving you an apologetic glance.

“I’m sorry our time got cut short, but duty calls,” Jalim tells you before following the guard.

You’re left alone in the hallway and you promptly walk back to your room when Jalim disappears down another hallway.  The door to Kalim’s door is open, but the white-haired boy is not inside his room.  Maybe he was needed in the meeting too, he is royalty after all.  This is perfect actually, now you can plan your great escape.  You enter your room and close the door, but you’re shocked to see that it doesn’t have a lock on it.  Instead, you have to shove your blanket under the door in the little slot so that the door would get jammed if someone tried to open it.  You quickly rummage around in the room, looking for a bag to place some necessities in.  You find a small sachet in the dresser and place a few extra cloaks inside for emergencies and a few sharp objects that you found on the vanity that you could potentially use as weapons.  You glance at yourself in the mirror very quickly, and you can see that your disguise looks too clean.  You need to roughen it a bit to actually blend in with the crowd so that you’ll be harder to find.  You rip the fabric in some places and add some makeup to create stains along with taking off all of your golden jewelry and the tiara.  Feeling very pleased with your work you attempt to sneak back out into the hallway.  Luckily for you, no one seems too interested in your presence.  Of course you get a few weird glances from guards and servants when they see what you’re wearing, but none of them give you a hard time about it or try to stop you.  You make it safely to the main doors, and you quickly slip through and back into the busy streets.  It’s around lunch time, so the vendors are busy with the lunch rush and the area is especially crowded as lines start to form.

This time you don’t have Jamil to magically part the crowd, but you make do as you shove and elbow your way through, just trying to put some distance between you and the palace.  You eventually make it back to the area where you freed Grim and you find the creature waiting for you there.

“You waited for me,” you smile, grateful to have a friend through all this.

“Of course I did.  I couldn’t leave my hench-human here,” Grim offers you another toothy grin.  “Now let's get out of here.”

It has only been around 30 minutes since you’ve escaped and now you’ve noticed a bunch of guards running around and asking villagers if they’ve seen you.  You pull up the hood of the cloak to conceal your identity and tuck Grim into your cloak as well just in case anyone questioned the cat’s odd appearance.  At this point, you’re just desperately trying to get further away from the palace and avoid the guards who travel in groups of four.  You made some good progress and Grim even gave you some directions toward the exit, but one wrong turn down a dark alleyway has you bumping into a taller figure.

You lose your balance for a second and don’t bother glancing up before just trying to make a run in the other direction.  You only get a few steps in when you realize you’re surrounded by guards, all of their swords raised threateningly at you.

“What do you think you’re doing?” a voice growls.

You know it’s Jamil so you turn to face him.  Should you try to play innocent or should you just tell the truth?

“Don’t bother lying to me.  It’s almost evening and most of the stores have closed.  You have no reason to be out,” Jamil seethes, his eyes glaring down at you.

No purpose to lie now, so now you have to convince Jamil to just let you go, “Jamil, please.  We need to stop the mass overblots.  I can help you and everything will go back to normal.”

“But what if I don’t want that, I like it here.  I have control over Kalim and I have endless power,” Jamil tells you, a smile now crawling onto his lips.

“But this isn’t right!  We need to save the school!” you exclaim, trying to reason with his more logical side.

Instead of responding, Jamil just leans down to your eye level and looks directly into your eyes, “You will forget that this incident ever happened.  You will forget everything about your past: your old name, your old life, your old friends, and our old school.”

You know you shouldn’t be listening to his words and that he’s using his unique magic on you, but they just seem so comforting and alluring.

“Snap out of it Y/N!  He’s trying to trick you!” Grim voice seems very distant as you vaguely register soft paws trying to slap you awake.

“I was wondering when you would reappear, you pest,” Jamil’s voice says before Grim is plucked off your shoulder.

You can feel distress at the loss of your companion, but you don’t feel like going to save him.  It would just be better if you forgot everything.  You could live a wonderful life here with Kalim and Jamil.  A vague part of yourself protests and fights against the magic, but eventually you just mentally tire yourself out and slump to the floor.

When you awake, you’re met with a splitting headache.  You wince as you slowly sit up, rubbing at your temples.

“Don’t move too quickly, you’ll hurt yourself,” Kalim’s voice says in your ear.

You whip around to face him, causing your pain to spike a bit.  He looks very concerned and has a cool towel in his hand that he was probably using it to keep you cool.

“”What happened?” you ask as Kalim hands you a cup of water.

“You collapsed after our journey into the village from heat stroke, you should really be more careful,” Jamil’s voice responds.

“Oh,” you murmur as you finish the water.

“Don’t worry, you’re probably just very prone to overheating,” Kalim reassures as he pats your back.  “Maybe we should limit your time outside.  It’s not very healthy if you keep fainting.”

You just nod, understanding the situation and that this is just the best for you and your health.  Kalim just continues to reassure you while Jamil rummages inside one of the pockets, looking for something.

“You dropped this when you fainted.  What is a prince without his crown?” Jamil places your tiara back onto your head.

The weight now feels comfortable and you smile up at the two males, “Thanks.”

“Anything for you, our diamond in the rough.”

Something that I don't get? Why do some people in the fandom genuinely believe that Kalim's parents are exactly like him and are perfect parents? I'm not talking about ENG Only people. That could be explained by simple ignorance thanks to the ENG version censoring so much about Jamil and Kalim's backstory. I'm talking about people who are familiar with the JP version and STILL honestly believe that.

In my eyes, the canon clearly points at the exact opposite being true, at least in regards to Kalim's father, and Kalim is simply just an unreliable narrator. There are vignettes where Jamil and Riddle say that one of Kalim's family members poisoned him for him to immediately go into complete denial. That's a sign that he comes from a super toxic household, and his parents are just giving him expensive gifts to make him happy. His father also: uses child labour, forces a fucking child to be a poison tester, possibly beats the Vipers when they displease him according to the JP version (the line could be taken a few different ways) and it's VERY heavily implied that he has a harem in the JP version. No one who is genuinely a good person would do any of those things!

Let's face it. There is no such thing as an ethical billionaire. People who become that wealthy always so by crushing a few heads to get to the top. The Asims are no exception.

The fact that his father is involved in politics makes him even worse. If he rubs elbows with the royals there, he could very well be like Jafar and manipulating the sultan in the worst way possible.

He tried to shoot himself out of this feelings but alas, he just feel deeper with every day of the week

He gets so red his freckles (I headcanon he has so many freckles) just disappear away from view

When they started dating he was the most anxious about date plans cause he wants to impress all of them but not mess up with so much of him trying to stay cool

Sometimes he would be so cocky and vague he would end up blurting out if he wants a date or a kiss

Deuce was more so the one who noticed he wanted to date all five of them

Was he still a blushing mess after realizing he has crushes on all of his best friends? Oh for sure

I'm talking it was difficult for him to walk back his dorm with Ace without the urge to hold his hand, actually looked away from Jack during club cause he's so attractive, laughed way too hard at a joke Epel said during classes, was so spaced when hanging out with Sebek he was almost left behind, was far too eager to lead Ortho back to his dorm, etc.

While Ace was nervous of not screwing up, he's more nervous of what to do

Dude he had to hide his tail or else everyone had to watch him make small tornados from how much his tail wags

He does not know who he fell first out of the others

Epel was one of those lovesick fools who was doodling on their homework and sighing dreamingly while looking out the window

He thinks no one can tell, but Vil and Rook were more than aware

He makes pies for all of them, apple and pear, as a "random act or kindness" or "I made leftovers, so here"

Took him the longest to accept he's in love cause he thought it made him less manly and be seen as needing saving by some strong looking men

As soon as he realized he is in love he immidentally went to Silver, Lilia, and of course Malleus begging for advice

Lilia's like "I owe Idia some money-"

He was the most like "I must shout it to the world" but gets all kinds of red in the face when seeing any of their faces

The most romantic

Out of all of them, he's the one who had the longest loading of what he's feeling and what he should do with it

All he knew looking at them and talking to them makes his fire flicker and roar even when he's away from them

Unlike all of them he was the one who was fast to asking out, holding hands, and even kisses

Ignihyde got real used to Ortho zipping around the halls with glee and high pitched noises

Al Asim family Headcanons

Jamil mentioned a few times cause they are a do-not-separate family

A common headcanon, Kalim has over 30 siblings but all of them are half-siblings. Kalim is the oldest and only child of the main/head/first wife. [different websites are telling me different names to call the Main wife so i hope this makes sense]

Kalim's father has a harem. Which leads to rivalries (like a drama).

His dad is a sweetheart who genuinely cares for all his children. There is a favoritism towards Kalim though.

Master Asim has a soft spot for Jamil and is v glad Kalim and him are together. Master Asim checks on Jamil at school, keeping a record of his achievements. Master Asim is aware of Viper's telling Jamil to hide his achievements but He knows nothing he says will change anything so he just witnesses proudly from afar. (i have a separate headcanon that Master Asim has watched some of his basketball games)

Kalim's parents didn't marry for love but both want Kalim too. His mom doesn't believe it's a realistic goal to have but Kalim's dad is determined to do whatever it takes to make sure Kalim gets too.

Kalim's dad and Jamil's grew up together the same as Jamil and Kalim have but Jamil's dad refused to ever accept friendship from Master Asim.

Kalim and his mother aren't really close but they still care and love each other. Kalim isn't super close with any of his family with the exception to a few of his siblings and his dad.

Kalim's mother would prefer Kalim and Jamil to have a Master-servant relationship instead of any type of friendship. Not out of malice she just thinks it will get complicated later in life.

Kalim's sibling born directly after him is a girl how goes to a princess school. Kalim and her are very close to each other. Talk whenever they can and send each other gifts. She loves snail mail and sends a ton of letters to him.

Kalim has no problem with having a lot of kids but he refuses to have as many as his father. He wants to have a much closer relationship with his kids than his dad physically can.

Kalim is actually smart and cunning. He just picks and chooses when he shows it.

Kalim plans to make Jamil his Grand vizier when they get older. He's had this plan for years. Jamil doesn't know.

It’s because that would be misleading, Anon.

We don’t have anything against “x reader” stuff, but this isn’t the type of content that we create, and even though some of my ramblings could be considered as such, this isn’t the intent. Whenever I write headcanons and use phrasing like “you’d have to really try to piss this guy off”, I’m not doing it with the idea of you-the-reader interacting with the character – it’s more of a generic statement about that exact character and their personality.

We ship characters with each other, and even if one of the parts of the ship is not a major canon character, a mob or just some rando we came up with for the sake of the story, none of this feels the same as “x reader” to me. We focus on their interactions with other characters and with other potential people within the story, which, in my head, is the opposite of the “x reader” posts. It’s not “if you, the reader, were to date Trey, he would act like that”, but more of a “Trey is the type of person that does this when he is dating someone”, implying either one of the existing ships or some random student.

Of course, you can still read those posts as if they were written to be hypothetical scenarios for the reader, but when it comes to tagging, it could create awkward situations. Like when I draw Malleus (just an example) doing something flirty, in my head implying that the other party is either someone we ship him with, or that it’s just a generic drawing, and people assume that it’s “x reader” because someone tagged it as such, which leads to them being then disappointed that we ship Malleus with Lilia of all people and don’t want to play along with yume comments. It’s just ends up being uncomfortable for everyone involved, and, I’ll say it directly as well, it is uncomfortable for us.

Sorry for rambling, and I hope that makes sense. Once again, it’s not like I have anything against it, it just wouldn’t be truthful to tag our posts like that, just like it wouldn’t be truthful to tag them as Leechcest or Idivil because those aren’t the ships that we are depicting.

I should also clarify: I didn’t mean that he had relationship with twst!Zazu, I tried to note that this is NOT him that I’m talking about! We haven’t seen the event, so I have no idea what he is all about, but based on the vibes, I don’t think he would fit that role. This wasn’t about any specific OC either; it’s just that when I look at Leona, I can picture him having an older male figure in his life at some point. Someone that he secretly admired and maybe had a connection with, but at this point in his life it’s just a thing from the past. Nothing too deep, I don’t really want to dive into it lol Just a thought that I had.

You wanna know what's missing from the Twisted Wonderland fandom?

A Leona/Kalim arranged marriage/ marriage of convenience fic. Maybe they were made to be fiance's after Kalim discovered his unique magic or a few years after graduation they agree to get together for their families. (Maybe in order for Kalim to inherit the family business he has to be tied down to someone well educated or Smth)

It's the sunshine grumpy dynamic. It's these two slowly opening up to each other and finding out they aren't that different after all. Looking out for one another and standing up to each other's haters.

Just think of the possibilities! Leona has a soft spot for how optimistic and giving Kalim is. Despite how loud Kalim can be maybe he sings lullabies from the Scalding sands to Leona. Maybe he tries to buff some of Jamil's comments.

(SPEAKING OF JAMIL THAT SHIT WOULD BE SUCH A GOOD LOVE CORNER/LOVE TRIANGLE SHIT OMGGGGGG)

And Kalim would 100% break down Leona's shell. Until they slowly start to care for one another (and possibly fall in love????). But the Public is gonna expect either Kalim or the both of them to have a harem or consorts or some shit.

How would "I hate people and social functions" Kingscholar and "I FUCKING LOVE HOSTING PARTIES 🎉🎉🎉" Asim work together?!? Would they have multiple homes in each desert or a main home? Leona isn't huge on kids but Kalim's from a HUGE family and probably wants a horde of his own lol.

They are so inherently different, but I just LOVE the idea of this dynamic. And I can't find SHIT!!! Give me a grouchy Leona who's hopelessly soft for the sun-baked Energizer Bunny!! Give me an emotionally deep Kalim that wants nothing more in the world than to bet the big Cat Boys sadness away.

They are so silly. No one understands why they'd ever agree to marriage (even if it WAS arranged) but they've got a yin and yang to them. Which just makes it Extra Spicy if you throw JamiKali into the mix....

Maybe accompanying dates as a "chaperone" or "body guard" but he's secretly dying inside trying to figure out a way to break them apart. Jamil being so. Fucking. Jealous. Of Leona but refusing to admit it's because he wanted to marry his best friend. Remaining Kalim's servant even when he's staying at the Kingscholar Castle or whatever just to be MESSY

Who Hurt Them!?

Summary: self aware!twst one day sees the player covered in bruises from behind their prison/ screen. And so they finally let their sentience be known. So willing to see this odd occurrence?

You almost hopped out of your bed hearing that there was finally twst merch that was $20-10 dollars only! You blamed it on the game not that well known in your area at the time sadly. But still that was the cheapest you’ve seen anyone price the huge plushes you just had to get them! Never in your life had you even gotten ready so fast and looked so good to go out into public but oh well. Special occasions call for special measures. As you dashed to the door you had realized you almost left your phone on the counter. A super close call! Now off you go to finally get the twst merch you’d kill to have! You chuckled to yourself at the stupid thought of accidentally leaving your phone. As you walked to the store you had been reminiscing on some odd things happening with your Twisted Wonderland app. First, was some unofficial or rare voice lines you’ve been getting throughout the game. For instance one time Kalim had stated “ _____ you’re so beautiful I could stare at you all day!” You giggled to yourself thinking about the whole “ They forgot to tell him it was not an otome game” meme you’ve recently been seeing with Malleus. But as you continued on with the rare voice lines they had all seemed to be a lot more…romantic than what most usual players had gotten. From what you had seen on others playing it on YouTube. Second, was with trying to exit the main menu. Sometimes especially with Floyd when you tried to exit to play in the chat box it would display “ Shrimpy! Don’t leave!” Which you found odd again. But still paid no mind to. Thinking of it as an update because you couldn’t read Japanese at all so you were clueless if they were or weren’t supposed to do that. And you had waited till the English release to start playing. Third, was during the recent chapters. The screen had started to just not let you tap anywhere if it wasn’t on the characters. This was probably just the game was crashing because it has multiple times on your phone. You just can’t bear to delete it from how happy and comforting it always makes you feel. It seemed as if the game had a mind of its own. Almost like a fanfiction scenario where all the characters loved you. Wow imagine you having your own harem with hot anime guys you could only communicate with through a screen? You chuckled at the thought in your head as you entered the small store. Your eyes filled with pure glee as you looked at everything. Seeing how most of it was on your wish list of merch. You’ve been saving up for this for so long and we’re so happy you had. Because you could buy at least 40-50 items here with how cheap it all was.

As you happily roamed the isles of the store you had picked out all your favorite characters. Well all except for one of them you had suddenly reached for. But some guy right behind you had started to reach for it at the same time as you. Causing you both to give each other the worlds most akward high five? Hand shake? Not sure but you soon retracted your hand being to apologize to them.

“ Oh you’re fine just get out of my way I want that figure!” they harshly replied to you smacking your hand away from the small figurine.

You rolled your eyes at the rude stranger not wanting to escalate this into a fight and had walked off into another isle looking for something else. Just trying to enjoy the rest of your short time at the store. But as soon as you had found just the character you needed for your collection the same guy had tried to snatch it away from you. But you were faster than them. Already having ahold of the item. Even as the were gripping your wrist.

“ Um… sir could you please let go of my wrist you’re hurting me.” You forced a smile trying to yank your wrist out of his hand.

“ No I saw it first give me it!” He yelled.

“ What are you five? Get over yourself and find another one there are plenty more behind it. And they’re all the same.” You argued ripping your wrist from his hand.

He then proceeded to argue back acting as if he was in the right here. You didn’t want to fight you just wanted to got some food and rest merch as a treat for studying after your endless exams. He then had tried to snack the item out of your hand but had accidentally punched you in the eye. Leaving a bruise as you gasped “ What the hell is your problem!?”

This was quickly catching attention of other customers in the store. You didn’t want any of this attention just a simple treat for yourself but no the universe just said “fuck you be miserable.” You had quickly just tried to leave not wanting to deal with this bs anymore. Along with the rest of anymore of the worrying stares from people just trying to shop. Trying to suck it up as you paid for your little treat the cashier had noticed your distress.

“ Hey, don’t worry I already called security on him. I’m so sorry about your eye do you want some ice?” They whispered to you trying to ease your worries before you left the building. You sighed shaking your head paying them before wishing them a good day.

You hurriedly jerked and slammed the door open just wanting to crawl into your bed and cry. You just wanted to have a good day why can’t you ever have a good day? Whatever you got what you had came for just wishing that the experience was better. You rubbed your still sore eye hoping it didn’t escalate into a black eye from that ass-hole. What was his problem any acting like a 5 year old. You sniffed as you opened your twisted wonderland app. Just wanting some comfort to end the day on a good note as you cuddled up to one of the ginormous plushes you had gotten. Along with your snack and drink right by your side. You stared at the screen seeing the cute little animations and seeing it was Cater on your screen. He was a character you had really liked but never gotten on your screen a lot so this had made you feel a bit better. “ I swear I sometimes just wish I could actually go to your world.” You sighed rubbing your eye again. ” I bet you don’t have random ass-hoke who act like five year olds try and yank figurines out of your hand huh?” You ranted to them. Knowing that you’ll never get a response no matter how much you wished you did. As you ranted about your horrible day you had failed to notice how he reacted to what you said. With each statement of yours he had silently cursed the man who decided to hurt you. How could anyone even want to hurt you. You were too kind, sweet, and generous for anyone to even be able to do that. It should have been a crime in general. But soon you had to leave the game. Well more like you just cried yourself to sleep trying to forget about your eye. And you felt like a crybaby for being so sensitive over what seemed like nothing. But not to them.

“ And you didn’t even try to comfort them!? Cater I expected better from you!” Riddle snapped at him.

“ Don’t you think I tried not every one here has as good of control over breaking their code!” He testified.

“ Geez it sounded like they were in some Black Friday sale! Plus their eye already looks a bit swollen. “ Ace committed.

Unknowingly to you your beloved characters had gained some sort of sentience throughout your time playing. One by one they had all come to a sense of some kind of humanity from your constant ranting to them. But you always would brush it off. And it’s starting to not be as easy to brush off.

“ You know if someone could just hurry up already the herbivore wouldn’t be having this problem.” Leona tsked glaring at a certain firey blue haired man.

“ Do…Dont you dare start this with me again! If …IF you think it’s sooooo easy then be my guest and help at least!” He flipped the lion off.

“ Hey hey! Let’s not fight Idia is trying his best! Plus I think we should focus on our sunshine at the moment!” Kalim said before the two tried to kill each other again.

“ For once I agree with him.” Jamil said as the others agreed.

For they had all been planning to make your wish come true one way or another you would become part of their world. Just in the meantime try to focus a bit more on some of their out of character voice lines from now on ok? You’ll be with them sooner than you know it.

Actually...my own speculation is that the assassination attempts are coming from one of his family members.

Historically, in harems, rival wives often plotted to poison favored heirs to secure their own children's succession to gain more power. If Kalim's father has a harem like I suspect, it's highly likely that one of the other wives were the ones to be responsible for hiring those assassins.

There are two vignettes where both Jamil and Riddle come to that conclusion for Kalim to be all like, "Oh, no. You're totally wrong. No one in my family is out to kill me. I'm totally fine. 🥰" Which is super fucked up to me. Like you said, that's a trauma response.

Have you ever thought of a Phantom of the Opera Au? I recently just watched it

Ah, Phantom of the Opera. I remember my first experience with being the 2005 movie and falling in love, then I fell in love even harder watching the 25th anniversary (Ramin Karimloo is still my number 1), finally a friend and I watched the show live with Chris Mann (he's hilarious btw he made a parody of Music of the Night).

Could you just imagine a Phantom reverse harem-type story. Christine's already busy with Erik and Raoul, why not add more into the mix with Minako? I can think of a few roles for the boys.

Minako is, of course, Christine Daae, the ingenue and rising prima donna. She's got a bit more gumption and assertiveness because, well, she's Minako. She's going to kick someone in the gut at some point with her heels. (Still adore Christine, though. She didn't deserve all that manipulation and torment.)

Malleus feels like he fits the role of Erik/Phantom the most—a lonely, tortured soul who has a talent for music (Malleus canonically plays string instruments. Also, his VA, Kato Kazuki, was in Phantom Black, Japan's own version of Phantom of the Opera)

Hear me out, I think it would be great if Leona was a grumpier version of Raoul. He himself isn't the one sponsoring the Opera house, it's his family and he's forced to attend the performances. I'd say he's closer to Hadley Fraser's Raoul, who is slightly more of an ass (sorry, Hadley. I love your performance, I swear). He only became invested when he was reunited with Minako, his childhood friend.

Riddle could also be a good Raoul too, but I don't see him getting involved in the arts much less fund an opera house. His involvement would probably go as far Trey and Cater taking him to a night at the opera then being enchanted by the new prima donna.

Kalim and Azul are Andre and Firmin respectively, the new managers of the opera house. It fits them so well, Azul being Firmin as the greedier businessman of the two while Kalim being Andre who genuinely loves the arts and is actually invested in how the theatre behind the scenes work.

Vil is either Madame Giry or Carlotta. I can see him being this hardass dance teacher, but him being the prima donna fits him so well too. He was miffed about how strange disasters kept happening as he performed (caused by Malleus) and felt insulted that he was replaced by Minako not even two minutes after he walked out of the performance. He did start seeing Minako in a new light when she offered to be co-leads of the opera house and discovered that they compliment one another based on their own strengths and weaknesses.

Idia is a much shyer Joseph Buquet, a stagehand, and has had many close encounters with the Phantom because of his position being behind the scenes often (don't worry, Malleus won't kill him). Unlike, Joseph though, he doesn't really talk about his Phantom sightings out of fear of being a victim to his punjab lasso... except to Ortho and later on, Minako.

Ace and Deuce are both Meg Giry as background dancers and good friends to Minako. Actually, all the first years could be Meg Giry too as either dancers or stagehands.

If I were to add the rest of Diasomnia to the mix, they would be a mix of Madame Giry and Nadir Khan. They know Malleus the best, but they are enablers at worst. They know how dangerous Malleus can be and tipped off Leona or Riddle on how to successfully beat him and rescue Minako once everything goes to shit.

Twisted Wonderland x JJK idea

Sooo I've been reading a lot of twst fanfic/brain rot ideas and I kinda got inspired to make a crossover. This wouldn't be a long story but it would be Yuji getting transported over to twst due to a Cursed Spirit that was able to manipulate the area around them/make portals. As a last effort to survive, it poured all of its Cursed energy into a last portal. It was killed right before it could enter by Yuji slamming his fist into its head. However, he slid on the blood/dead corpse as blood poured out of the hole in its head. So the first-years and Gojo are trying to figure out how to get him back, cause right after that, the Cursed energy lvls in the world went crazy. So now Yuji is in twst with Sukuna at 3-5 fingers so Yuji was very much in control. He gets into Savanaclaw or into Diasomnia, depending on how his soul is viewed. If Sukuna chose to bother the judging of his soul, he would def go to Diasomnia as he wouldn't want his disgusting host to be near more disgusting worms of the world.

Now our boy is stuck with trying to keep Sukuna quiet, figuring out a way home, and dealing with all the fucking drama there and *maybe* forming a small harem or smth cause he is a sunshine baby like Kalim, who fucking tackled him at the first meeting. Now Jamil has to deal with two Kalims with one being Yuji who might have sent a few students to the infirmary because they dare make fun of him being 'magic less' but he still can use Cursed energy but THESE HANDS ARE STRONG! (I will waste all my time to write this fanfic for fun and ignore my other twst once I get more ideas for this :3)

I read a lot of Twisted Wonderland fics, I don't play the game so I wanted to know if it's true that Kalim's father has a harem?

No, that’s not true (or at least it’s not explicitly stated) 😣

Kalim canonically has at least 30 to 40 younger siblings (note: this number was removed from the EN version of the game). Due to this abnormally high number, we can infer that Kalim’s father perhaps has had multiple wives. It’s not clear if Kalim’s dad is still in a relationship with these women or if he has since divorced them and remarried; to my knowledge, Kalim has only ever mentioned his own mother.

We can infer that his siblings came from other mothers, since it’s almost physically impossible for one human to give birth that many times. However (and I must stress this), we don’t know about the relationship of those hypothetical other mothers in regards to the Asim family.

The game itself and other official TWST materials have never used the term “harem” or anything of the sort to describe Kalim’s family. If you see the concept being mentioned in fandom works, it’s most likely the creator’s personal headcanon. (Side note: some fans take offense with this interpretation, the explanation being that it falls back on a Middle Eastern stereotype. So 💦 please be mindful of that!)
